105 days, 19 contestants and umpteen tasks later, Bigg Boss 11 finally has a winner and the winner is Shilpa Shinde! 

The popular TV actress took the trophy home from the grand finale of  Bigg Boss 11, which aired on Sunday night. Not just the trophy, Shilpa's winning basket also includes prize money of Rs. 44 lakhs and dher sara pyaar from her fans. While Shilpa was the star of the night, a considerable amount of limelight was also on Hina Khan, who was in the list of top two contestants. Puneesh Sharma was the first of the four finalists to be eliminated while Vikas Gupta was the second finalist to leave the house. Shilpa Shinde, Vikas Gupta, Hina Khan and Puneesh Sharma were the four finalists of the show, which was hosted by Salman Khan.

It is not unknown that Bigg Boss always has a trick up its sleeves. And the last twist of this season was that voting lines were made live for 10 minute during the episode before the winner was announced, which gave fans of Hina and Shilpa a chance to shower more votes in favour of their favourite contestants.What lead to the announcement about Shilpa Shinde's bigg win is a blockbuster grand finale of Bigg Boss 11, which was made entertaining times infinity with the ex-contestants performing on stage. And, as a surprise package, Akshay Kumar joined Salman on stage and the duo had loads of fun with ex-contestant Dhinchak Pooja. On the show, Akshay Kumar also spoke about his upcoming movie PadMan.

Puneesh Sharma and his girlfriend - ex-contestant Bandgi Kalra - also set fire on water with their performance to Tip Rip Barsa while there was a glimpse of Shilpa Shinde and Vikas Gupta's bitter-sweet relationship. Hiten Tejwani and Aarshi Khan also delivered a hilarious performance about their onscreen flirting-shirting. And who can forget Aakash Dadlani, who had some rapping-shapping to do.

Hina Khan performed with her two best friends on the show - Luv Tyagi and Priyank Sharma. Hina has also signed up for a solo performance to Main Heroine Hoon:

Ahead of the winning announcement, Salman Khan met the contestants through the live TV inside the house, when Shilpa Shinde was asked about how she managed to garner such a massive fan following. Shilpa, who turned out to be almost everyone's favourite Bigg Boss 11 contestant, said she had no strategy for the show but only to just be herself, which she thinks worked in her favour.

Well, Arjun Reddy is a 2017 Telugu film written and directed by debutant Sandeep Reddy Vanga and produced by his brother Pranay Reddy Vanga on Bhadrakaali Pictures banner. In this film, the hero, Arjun Reddy, is unconventional, free-spirited and tries to break the shackles of traditional societal norms. 

As per a report in Vivid, the actor might be seen in the Hindi remake of 2017 Telugu blockbuster Arjun Reddy. After the success of Judwaa 2, producer Sajid Nadiadwala will be working with Varun Dhawan yet again. The film which is currently in its scripting stage will be directed by Sandeep Reddy who had helmed the Telugu version too.

Arjun Reddy which starred Vijay Deverakonda essaying the titular role was a story of a doctor dealing with anger issues. The film narrated the story of free-spirited Arjun who broke many societal norms after his break-up.

After approaching Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor for the Hindi remake, the project finally came Varun’s way who seems to have given his nod for this action drama.The shooting for the film will begin mid-2018 and Varun will be seen sporting a lean look.

While October is slated to release on June 1st, Sui Dhaaga will be releasing on 28th September 2018.  October is Varun and Shoojit Sircar’s first collaboration and also marks Bollywood debut of Banita Sandhu.

Cute and bubbly actress Sanaya Irani is all set to make her debut in the world of web series.

Sanaya, who was last seen shaking a leg with her husband Mohit Sehgal in Nach Baliye 8, will play the role of Keya Sharma in the series.

The show produced by Bodhi Tree Multimedia will explore a bold concept of a younger man falling in love with 35-year-old single mom. The show features Karan Jotwani and Suhasi Dhami in the lead role. Actors Sailesh Gulabani, Mohit Dagga, Resha Konkar, Hetal Gada, Shaily Priya and Geeta Tyagi will be seen in the supporting role.

The show will replace the channel’s romantic drama ‘Dil Dhoondta Hai’ which was launched in September 2017. Produced by Nitin Vaidya, the show is about a Maharashtrian boy and a Punjabi girl who fall in love and get married. They come to Mumbai and dream of purchasing a big home for their family.

The actor is now set to return with Zee TV’s Aapke Aa Jane Se opposite Suhasi Dhami.

An excited Karan opened up about his show and said, “Our plan is to come up with something different. I feel no one needs monotony in life. Everybody needs something unique and that’s the plan with Aapke Aa Jane Se to get something different on the table. Our motto is to break stereotypes, taking out gender inequality.  If a man can fall in love with a young woman, why can’t a young boy fall in love with an elderly woman? Love should never see any kind of bar. This thought really attracted me to take up this show. I really hope audience watch the show with a progressive mind. It is a sensitive issue but the execution is really amazing.”

Karan who was on a break for six months said that it is important for an actor to take a break. “It is very important to take a break from acting because when you go outside, and you come back fresh. There are times when shows run for a long period of time and you start living that character. So there should be detachment to it, and this will help the actor in attaching to a new character with renewed energy. Travelling is a best thing to do during break. I travel a lot. During the break, I have explored three different countries,” shared the actor.

Finally, he felt the show is different from the other lot of shows. “The show is progressive, so if you will watch with an open mind you will not be disappointed,” signed off Karan.

Bigg Boss 11: Hiten Tejwani Exposed that 'Hina Khan Is Fake'

Bigg Boss 11 always has surprises up its sleeve - some pleasant and some not so great ones. One such example was Sunday's Weekend Ka Vaarepisode, in which Hiten Tejwani, the much-loved 'bhau' of the house, was eliminated from the show. Of the four nominated contestants - Priyank Sharma, Shilpa Shinde, Hiten and Luv Tyagi - Priyank and Hiten were in the bottom two. 

As a first-time stunt on Bigg Boss 11, Hiten and Priyank were sent to a secret room while the remaining contestants - Vikas Gupta, , Shilpa Shinde, Hina Khan, Arshi Khan, Aakash Dadlani, Luv Tyagi and Puneesh Sharma were to unanimously decide who to be evicted.

It came as a shock even to Priyank, when Hiten was announced to be eliminated from the show. Show host Salman Khan also appeared visibly upset with the decision and told Hiten, he's been evicted as he was a strong contender.

After his exit from the show, Hiten spoke about his fellow contestants, telling PTI: "Quite a few of them are fake on the show. People do things to be noticed." Hina Khan, to be precise: "I think Vikas Gupta is good on the show, I still feel, Hina Khan is fake, Aakash changes his colour depending on which group is in the majority. Priyank and Luv do not seem to exist in the house," PTI quoted him as saying.

Earlier this month, Hina Khan, who quickly became one of the most trending and criticised contestants of the Bigg Boss 11 house, also had picked a fight of sorts with Hiten. During a heated exchange of words, she referred to the message Hiten's wife Gauri Pradhan had sent him during the initial days of the show. Hina's move was condemned by Gauri during a surprise visit on the show, saying it was not for everyone to analyse because it's personal. Hiten Tejwani and Gauri Pradhan married in 2004 and are parents to two children.

Well Said, Hiten, who had once saved Shilpa in the eviction sessions, is aware of the negative votes he's received and said he did not expect "Shilpa to return the favour" but did not expect to be ousted from the game either. "It (eviction) came as a shock to me. I deserved to be in the house as compared to some of them like Priyank and Luv. I think I was a threat to the other contestants. I feel people were waiting to chuck out the strong contestants," PTI quoted him as saying.

Hiten also added the he would love to be back on the show because: "I have played my game my way and I was the same on the show as I am in real life. I think, may be, I did not get into dirty games, so I was out. This game is such that all those inside the house would want a strong contender to be out. I never did anything wrong to anyone, everyone respected me on the show and I respected all of them."
